The School and Role
We work with Virtual Schools across Greater Manchester who need full time in school support for their students in Trafford schools. We are looking to appoint a passionate LAC Teaching Assistant to work on an ongoing basis with a designated Looked After Child. Working in either primary or secondary settings, the desired LAC Teaching Assistant will be working to support the student’s progress and consider intervention sessions outside the classroom. This full time LAC Teaching Assistant role is long term and potentially permanent.
Requirements
The desired LAC Teaching Assistant will have:
- Experience of working with primary or secondary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for engaging young people and motivating them to achieve
- An ability to work 1:1 and provide general classroom support if required
