Teaching Assistant (Full Time –January 2025)

£85 - £95 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

The role
Vision for Education is currently recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a Primary school in Leeds to start January 2025 on a Full-Time basis in a Year 1 class. The ideal candidate will preferably hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (but not essential) and will have recent experience in a Primary School working as a Teaching Assistant. You must have strong behvaviour management skills and an enthusiastic approach to your work. You will be providing a combination of one-to-one work, small group interventions and whole class support.

The school is a successful, inclusive, popular two form entry primary school with innovative and creative approaches to learning. This school has a ‘good’ Ofsted rating and is a two-form school. It is at the heart of the community with inclusivity at the centre of everything they do.

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

• Have experience working with Primary School aged children.

• Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of support staff.

• Have a passion for helping to support teaching staff across all subjects.
