The Role – Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire to start in May 2026 for a temporary long-term role with no set end date. This is a full-time position and may also include delivering some PSHE lessons.

As a Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

• Inspire students to explore diverse beliefs, values and ethical issues.

• Assess, monitor and support pupil progress in line with school policies.

• Contribute to the wider life of the school, promoting respect and inclusion.

• Provide occasional PSHE cover where required.

The successful Teacher of Religious Studies – Blackpool, Lancashire will hold QTS (or equivalent) and have experience teaching Religious Studies in a UK secondary setting. Strong classroom management skills and a passion for promoting thoughtful discussion are essential.
