About the role

SEN Teaching Assistant (part & full time)

Scunthorpe

£90-£100 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

This successful, ‘outstanding’ special school catering to pupils aged 2 – 19 with a wide range of special educational needs are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant starting on an ad hoc basis possibly leading to a longer term role for the right candidate.

The SEN Teaching Assistant will be responsible for supporting the teacher with the smooth running of the classroom and pupils within the classroom or on a 1:1 basis with their work or managing behaviour.

Requirements:

The desired SEN Teaching Assistant will;

  • Hold a minimum L2 Teaching Assistant qualification
  • Have knowledge and experience supporting children with special educational needs
  • Have excellent communication skills
  • Have a caring and empathetic manner
