Online Geography & History Tutors – KS3 & KS4
Location: Remote / Online
Pay: Competitive hourly rate (dependent on experience)

About the role
Vision for Education is seeking passionate and knowledgeable Geography and History Tutors to deliver high-quality online tuition sessions to pupils across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates, experienced tutors, or education professionals who are passionate about supporting pupils to build confidence, close learning gaps, and achieve their academic potential.

As an online tutor, you will deliver engaging and structured sessions tailored to individual pupils or small groups. Tuition may focus on reinforcing curriculum knowledge, preparing for GCSE examinations, or supporting pupils who require additional academic guidance.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong subject knowledge in Geography or History

  • Have experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring or supporting secondary-age pupils (desirable)

  • Be confident delivering engaging online lessons

  • Be able to explain concepts clearly and adapt sessions to suit different learning needs

  • Be committed to supporting pupils with varying abilities and building their confidence in the subject

  • Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Online Geography & History Tutor you will:

  • Hold a degree in Geography, History or a related subject, or be currently studying towards one

  • Have a passion for supporting young people in their learning

  • Have access to a reliable internet connection and suitable device to deliver online tuition

  • Be willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and safeguarding vetting in line with Vision for Education policies
