An Ofsted graded ‘Good’ school setting based on the border of Walthamstow , are seeking a Music Teacher for the Summer term on a part-time basis The successful candidate will confidently lead Music across the whole school (Reception – year 6) , from Wednesday-Friday . The ideal Music Lead Teacher must be confident in the promotion and teaching of school Music, and be able to coordinate their popular after-school music tuition programme in which they will offer tuition on their specialist instrument. They must be a flexible and charismatic team-player, and have a good knowledge of delivering a whole-school Music programme. The school currently follows the ‘Karanga’ Music scheme of work.
The school is 4 form entry in size, and is a brilliantly culturally diverse setting. With inclusivity at the heart of everything, the school has its own large provision for children on the Autistic spectrum.
Parking available , and is easily accessible from both Walthamstow central or Chingford station
Requirements
The desired Music Teacher will have;
- A resilient and dedicated work ethic
- Knowledge and experience of delivering a Music curriculum
- QTS, or unqualified Music Teaching experience in Primary School settings
