The School and Role
Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a motivated and driven KS1 Teacher to work on a full-time basis at a school in Jarrow (NE32) from April 2026 until the end of the academic year. The successful KS1 Teacher will be covering part of a maternity leave in a Year 1 classroom, where some pupils have SEND and/or lower ability. Phonics knowledge is essential for the role, and it will be for 5 days per week, with half a day of PPA time allocated. This is a ‘Good’ school, where pupils feel happy and supported in school.
Requirements
The desired KS1 Teacher will have;
- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team
