The School and Role
A welcoming primary school in Cramlington is seeking a Year 5 Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning in the classroom and assist with the after-school club. The role includes working with small groups and individuals, supporting the class teacher, and helping create a positive learning environment. You will also supervise and engage pupils in fun, safe after-school activities. Strong communication skills, flexibility, and experience supporting primary-aged children are essential.
Requirements:
The desired Teaching Assistant will have;
- Experience of working within KS2.
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND.
- A passion for the progress of pupils.
- An ability to work as part of a team.
