Health and Social Care Teacher
Location: East Yorkshire
Salary: £160 – £230 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full Time, Immediate Start – June 2026

About the Role
Vision for Education are currently recruiting for a Health and Social Care Teacher to join a well-established further education provider in East Yorkshire. This is a full-time position starting immediately, with the contract running initially until June 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality lessons across Health and Social Care programmes, including BTEC and T-Level courses. You will be responsible for supporting learners to develop the knowledge, practical understanding, and professional behaviours required for progression into careers within the health and social care sector.

This role would suit an experienced FE lecturer or a qualified teacher with a strong background in health and social care education who is passionate about helping students achieve their potential.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Health and Social Care lessons across BTEC and T-Level qualifications

• Assess and track student progress in line with curriculum requirements

• Provide effective feedback to support learner development and achievement

• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery across the department

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Health and Social Care Teacher you will:

• Hold a teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) or have relevant FE teaching experience

• Have experience teaching Health and Social Care at further education level

• Have knowledge or experience delivering BTEC and/or T-Level qualifications

• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills

• Have a passion for supporting students in vocational education
