Vision for Education are looking to register Classroom Assistants for primary schools based within Swansea. You will be supporting children within the Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2 in small group settings. The work we offer is on a supply basis and would be as and when schools require cover. Primary schools throughout Swansea require supply Classroom Assistants and so you will be able to decide where in Swansea you would like to travel to.

This role requires highly motivated, committed, passionate and resilient Classroom Assistants with great communication skills and a proactive approach to supporting the teacher alongside supporting the children throughout their day with various activities. Your responsibilities will include assisting with lesson preparations, setting the space up for the day, helping manage classroom behaviour, and offering additional guidance to pupils who need extra help. You will work as part of a dedicated and committed team that have a child-centred approach in everything they do.

Requirements

The desired Classroom Assistant will have: -

- Experience of working with children either in the Foundation Phase or Key Stage 2.

- The ability to work independently and lead small groups of children.

- The ability to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs.

- An ability to work as part of a team.
